Russia Today: Russia establishes diplomatic ties with Abkhazia and South Ossetia
'Russia has established formal diplomatic ties with Abkhazia and South Ossetia. Russia’ s Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov made the statement at a news conference on Tuesday. Addressing the media he said Russia, Abkhazia and South Ossetia will soon sign agreements for friendship, co-operation and mutual help.'
